    Category: Social AGLA Holiday/Equality Awards

    December 11, 2021

You are cordially invited to celebrate the holidays at a fun party at Hilton Garden Inn; 2020 Richmond Hwy( corner of 20 st & Route 1),
Arlington (Crystal City) VA Saturday, December 11th at 6 p.m. There will be plenty of good cheer, with a cash bar.
At the event we will present the 2021 Equality Awards This years recipients are
    Individual Debbie Dimon
    Organization AFAC
There is no charge for dues paying members; Non members will be charged $10.00 cover charge.
Regardless of where you live, please feel free to invite all your friends, as the more the merrier!
As has become tradition, AGLA will be collecting boxes of cereal and nonperishable foods at the event to donate to (https://www.afac.org). This time of year AFAC many times sees an increase in those needing food assistance; this is another great way that AGLA helps our community.
Crystal City Metro is the closest Metro stop. When you arrive and exit the fare card reader, go up the first escalator and enter the glass doors on your left. Walk through the underground shops to 23rd St, Proceed to corner of 20 st & Route 1.
Aside from a fabulous party this event also provides members (and potential members – so bring your friends your are not members yet) an opportunity to provide direct input to the board about the direction and activities of AGLA. As an annual meeting, members get to elect the board for the upcoming year. Nominations will be accepted from the floor.
